Book 10 -Patterns!!
Yes it seems like an oxymoron to say Abstract Patterns, but one of the things I find myself doing when I color Trisha's abstract doodles, is trying to find ways to color with a pattern, so, with this newest book, I convinced her to draw some abstract "Patterns". She found it quite the challenge to think this way.
And now that I have the book, I'm having a BLAST coloring, and she is really frustrated by the confines of coloring patterns.
Dontcha just LOVE differences?! I do. I think it makes me and Trisha an awesome couple of friends!!

April showers make us want a Picnic!
Seriously, just when you get excited about winter being over and flowers appearing, you have to deal with gray skies and rain...
It's raining for us here in Utah today, so in light of that, we have made some fun stuff to color!

LDS Activity Doodles
With conference coming up, you might be excited we have help to keep the kids interested.
It's proven that coloring or drawing increases the ability to listen, and frankly we (Trisha & Natalie) have already experienced how much easier it is to pay attention when you have stuff you're coloring... It just seems to go in easier, and elevates concentration.
Our newest book is an LDS Activity book with a bunch of abstract doodles thrown in.

Is that exciting or what? We think so. Now you can color one page over and over if you want to :)
We suggest you print on 80lb cardstock if you want to color with markers, since it's so perfect... That's what we use when you buy our books. (Only the best for our fans.)

Mentors
We recently had a couple of opportunities to meet with some great Women Mentors.
The first was Nikki Casassa from http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/. She does AMAZING work like this guy here:

Nikki is a Mother of 3 (5 if you count the loving dogs). She works full time and does all her design work in her "spare" time. God Love 'er.
We went over to see Nikki to chat about things she does, things we should do, and exchanged ideas in general. She gave us much needed advice and boosts of confidence!

Then we met with the Author Win Charles via Skype.
She is recently published and is working on two more books.
Her Book 'I, Win' is available on Amazon in both printed and ebook formats. Awesome price at $8.63 for the printed book, and .99 cents for the ebook.
It's an autobiography about her success in life overcoming obstacles such as the loss of her mother and living with cerebral palsy. She's also an artist and a teacher. She has a YouTube Channel and posts videos regularly. We highly recommend paying her a visit.

She has a great pop up that allows you to schedule a chat with her... Super cool.
